Company June 23, 2026 Zoovu Named a Visionary in the 2026 Gartner® Magic Quadrant™ for Search and Product Discovery Zoovu advances to the Visionary quadrant, reflecting measurable progress in personalization, core search, and AI conversational discovery. Zoovu has been named a Visionary in the 2026 Gartner® Magic Quadrant™ for Search and Product Discovery. Notably, Zoovu is the only vendor positioned in the Visionary quadrant this year. The recognition marks a clear step up for Zoovu, which was positioned as a Niche Player in both the 2024 and 2025 reports. Gartner defines Visionaries as vendors that “demonstrate the ability to disrupt through innovative approaches.” We see this recognition as a clear signal that Zoovu and our customers are ideally positioned to take advantage of the significant shift occurring in how shoppers find and choose products online. As one of the first vendors to deploy GenAI shopping assistants at scale for enterprise brands, Zoovu has spent years building for exactly this shift toward AI-native, conversational, and guided experiences. In the Magic Quadrant description, Gartner highlighted these strengths of Zoovu: Data enrichment at scale. A proprietary product ontology spanning more than 17,000 categories and 50,000 attributes, using AI to enrich both structured and unstructured catalog data, which Gartner identified as the foundation for relevant search and recommendations. An AI product finder built for complex catalogs. Experiences that can be dynamically invoked on shopper intent with support for compatible products, bundles, and real-time pricing that improve add-to-cart and conversion rates. Growth into end-to-end search. Zoovu has expanded well beyond its roots in product finders into a full search and product discovery platform, strengthening core search and personalization year over year. “We see this recognition as validation of a bet we made early — that discovery, not just search, is what wins today's buyers. Our customers need to turn massive, complex catalogs into experiences that feel effortless and personal,” says Jonathan Taylor, CEO of Zoovu. “Being named as the only Visionary tells us we're building the right thing, and with XGEN AI now part of Zoovu, we're moving faster than ever to make AI-native discovery the new standard for commerce.” What's next The momentum doesn't stop here. In May 2026, Zoovu acquired XGEN AI, a next-generation AI search and recommendations engine. With the acquisition, Zoovu has been able to accelerate the product roadmap for conversational discovery, AI mode for search, AEO and GEO, and vibe merchandising. Together, Zoovu and XGEN are building the AI-native discovery layer for modern commerce: one that understands intent, speaks the shopper's language, and turns even the most complex catalog into an effortless path to purchase. (Note: the XGEN AI acquisition closed after Gartner's research cutoff and was not evaluated as part of the 2026 Magic Quadrant.) See what visionary, AI-native discovery looks like.
